I’m Beth, your host for the duration of your visit. Personally, I’m me, a Gemini, socialist, egalitarian, and lover of doing things. It’s taken me a long time to find the person I am now and I know I’m still not done yet. The time since my marriage ended have been pivotal to my journey of self-assessment and while I felt a burning shame when it did end, I wouldn’t be where I am now if it hadn’t.

In August 2020, I relocated with my children to rural mid-Wales, along the Powys/Shropshire border. The slower pace of life has been very welcome even if it was a bit of a shock to the system. Currently (March 2021), we’re eagerly anticipating a summer of exploring our new lives. Tales from the Marches is going to help me document it. I can’t say for certain what you will find within the pages of the blog. Each day brings with it a different emotion, a new event. With an end in sight of the restrictions we have all lived with since March 2020, adventures can resume. With new adventures come new stories. With new stories come new ideas. With new ideas comes growth.
